Welcome to the El Dorado Hills Genealogical Society (EDHGS) Homepage!
The EDHGS provides a means for members - whether expert, novice, or all those in between - to learn more about their family history. Through guest speakers at our monthly meetings, guidance provided at our monthly workshops, and a growing genealogical collection at our local library, we strive to educate and inspire our members to discover more about their ancestry and past.
We also support our community by participating in special projects to research, collect and preserve genealogical information in our local area.
We invite you to attend our monthly meetings (on Zoom and in-person) and check us out on Facebook or Nextdoor. Click on the Events tab above for more information about our meetings. We think membership in the EDHGS will provide you with the fuel you need to further your genealogical journey!
The EDHGS is a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
